A Home Away from Home
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mobile provides a "home away from home" for families who travel to Mobile for their children to receive treatment for serious, often life-threatening illnesses and injuries. Our house can accommodate up to 38 families a night. Families stay for days, weeks, sometimes months at a time while their children receive care. Since opening our doors 11 years ago, Ronald McDonald House has served over 3,000 families from around the Gulf Coast, from across the country and around the world. Families are asked to contribute $12 a night to stay but no one is ever turned away for an inability to pay.
